The science of Ayurveda was born in India over 5,000 years ago. The practice of Ayurveda focuses on achieving balance in the ‘doshas’ – the Sanskrit term for the mind/body natural state. Misalignment in the doshas results in illness. Ayurveda is focused on preventing illness through various mediums promoting mind, body and emotional wellness.
This course is designed for those who are new to Ayurveda. Each attendee will learn their dosha type and strategies for self-care. The use of meditation and breathing exercises will also be introduced.
